'Providence'

Q & A - 'About'
'In The Studio'
'Olan Mills Photographic Studios' was an 'American Company' established and respected within the 'Photographic Industry'.
Olan Mills had studios in most cities throughout the UK, where they did not have a studio, they would send 'The Mobile Team'.
I worked in a very busy 'Studio' carrying out 'Fashion And Makeover Photography', before moving to beautiful 'North Wales'.
Later I was invited to work on 'The Mobile Team', which enabled me to be based in North Wales, but involved traveling all around the UK.

'Fashion, Make-Over Photography'

Working closely with a professional 'Make-Up Artist' we created all kinds of different styles.
We always designed the shoot for that 'Unique Lady' making the whole experience very special . Creating different styles from a 'Casual' to a 'Glamourous Look' to a 'Sexy With A Touch Of Class Look'.
Olan Mills were renowned for their 'State Of The Art Studios'.
Even in the early days ,they had 'Screens' to frame the client, we worked with 'Trifold Reflectors', the camera was on a 'Dollie', and of course Olan Mills had 'State Of The Art Lighting'. We also worked with a 'Soft Focus Lens' which the ladies loved ...

The Mobile Team
'Traditional Photography'

Olan Mills invited me to work on their 'Mobile Team' which allowed me to be based in 'North Wales' but involved traveling all around the UK.
This was a very different discipline , photographing 'Children', or any person who wanted their photograph taken.
We would build a mad studio in the middle of a busy 'Shopping Center'. 'The Photo' Shoot' was always very popular, it was a fun job I enjoyed photographing the children, however it could be very challenging.
'Trainer'
I worked for Olan Mills on and off for many years , they invited me to be a 'Trainer' for the company, and sent me on all their courses to that, which I enjoyed very much.

Disciplines'

Over the many years I have been in the Industry I have had the opportunity to photograph most disciplines of photography with the emphasis on 'Fine Art Photography'
'Fine Art Photography' is photographing something in a most 'Original, Unique and Creative Way'...
Making an image come to life and tell a story , working with 'Movement and Technique' with the 'Birds' and the 'Swans' showing how everyday birds can look sensational.
'The Wildlife Project' was 'Number One' in the UK listings of 'Professional Websites', which I am still very proud of ...
Photographing something in most 'Creative, Unique and Different Way' will always make your work get noticed.

'Mach Loop'
Today I am more an 'Action Shot Lady' I enjoy photographing 'Fast Moving Objects'. I enjoy this style of photography because it is fun and exciting and is very different, lifting your photography onto a brand new level.
My 'Air Show Aviation Photography' is very tame compared to ''The Mach Loopers.' 'The Mach Loop' is a low level training area for 'Military Aircraft', situated between 'Dollgellau and Machynlleth'.
'The Mach Loopers' lift their photography 'To An Insane Level',
You are very talented, 'Full Respect To You' ...

'Sports, Fitness And Dance'
'Princess Cruises'
Showtime 'Princess Cruises'

This is one of our shows for 'Princess Cruises'. I am the lady in the middle,
I was in my mid to late 20's. I am now in my 50's ...
I have been very lucky to have had two careers in my first career I was 'A Sports Instructor' specializing in 'Fitness And Dance'. The highlight of that career was working on the 'Cruise Ships' for 'Princess Cruises.'
I was in charge of the full sporting programme on board the ship, I was was also a member of the 'Cruise Staff', ('Entertainment Team'.)
I was in all the shows, my main job was to double up as the 'Magicians Assistant'. In then days it was old fashioned magic, he use to put me in a box and chop me in half.
When nobody on board the ship it was my free time, so I got to visit many beautiful places experiencing all different 'Cultures'. We cruised every where in the 'Caribbean', 'The 'Panama Canal', 'Acapulco' and 'Vancouver to Alaska'. 'I had the time of my life '...
Alaska was all about 'The Captivating Magic Of Glacier Bay,' The Incredible Wildlife' and of the course 'The Gold Rush' ...
I retired from 'The Dance And Fitness World' in '1996' ...
I changed my whole career and trained to be a 'Photographer'.
'The Welsh Gold Rush'

Today Llangollen and Betws -Y - Coed always remind me of Canada and Alaska Wales had their our own 'Gold Rush'. There are 'Forgotten Gold Mines' scattered throughout the whole Wales.
You can buy a second hand 'Metal Detector' from E Bay, you can always upgrade at a later date when you find your first 'Golden Nugget' just like 'Aussie Gold Hunters'.
The 'Gold Gypsies' from 'Aussie Gold Hunters' always say _
"The Old Timers did not have the 'Technology' or the 'Equipment' we have today"...
Good Luck

'Treasure Hunting'
I was unable to resist , I bought a 'Brand New Metal Detector' from 'E Bay' it was not expensive £21.99. However it is powered by the small square batteries. I think the more expensive 'Metal Detectors' you would be able to charge up, like you would do with your mobile phone. I have had so much fun working with the 'Metal Detector.' ' Let The Journey Begin' ...
